I am new to Indexing Services and trying to compare
Indexing Service to SQL queries. A few questions:

Is there any way to add custom fields to Index service,
such a document number, category, published date?

Can I perform a dynmic alphabectic sort of search results?

I am trying to Index PDF files and have a results pages
with TITLE CATEGORY DATE NUMBER columns on the page.
