I have 2 servers that are indexing the standard web
catalog. 1 of my servers will occasionaly stop indexing
for some reason and I need to restart the indexing service
to get the catalog to work again. Has anyone every seen
this problem before. Is there a patch I need to install to
fix this problem?

Thnaks

Are you excluding your catalog and content from antivirus and backup
software?

Thank You

I'm having someon check into the backup software. It
appears there was a warning saying that the index service
could not restart the web catalog and it will need to be
manually restarted. This appeares twice on the days the
index was an issue.
