Frank,
I am interested in a search tool for a workstation (Win 2K
OS) as well.
Not so much with removable media but just a parent
directory of <5000 files totalling <2 gigs.

I see that Index Server is a "server product" can it getr
installed on a Windows 2000 Workstation and how do I set
it up?
