Hi

I have built an arabic website and i want to have a search facility in the
site which can search for arabic text in arabic pages. I am using Microsoft
IIS indexing service for this. I have created the catalog and also written
the code for searching. It works fine with English contents. Whenever I give
a arabic text it says ' Query contained only ignored words' . I know this is
because it is not recognizing arabic characters and I am very sure it should
work for unicode irrespective of the language. So can anyone tell me how to
set the catalog for performing an arabic serach in an arabic website and
what are the other settings required on the server. By the way I have set
the codepage as 1256 which is for arabic.

I would highly appreciate if somebody can help me out in this regard

We're currently facing the same problem as you were in January 2004 ... could you solve the problem and if yes, would you mind sharing the solution with us?
