Author Truncated property name

In the list of properties, some of the names are long, and they appear
truncated. For example, the one, extracted by MS XML iFilter:

urn:schemas.microsoft. com:fulltextqueryinfo:xmlfilter:htt
p://purl.oclc.org/prime/:...rg/net/prime/:a

is probably "urn:sche... .../net/prime/:author"

How do I see the complete property name? Also, how do I get friendly name
for this property set in the catalog?

Sincerely,
Zigmunad

Reading other posts on the topics of friendly name, it seems that I should
create mypropertynames.idq file containing only [names] section, and point to
it in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControl
Set\Control\ContentIndexCommon\DefaultCo
lumnFile
key. Well, the DefauldColumnFile key does not exist in the above location.
Shall I just create the key myself?
