Not sure if this is the correct place to ask but I've been everywhere else
so here goes...

I want to use the FullText search integrated in windows 2k and up to do some
wordbreaking for a full text search in my app. Note that I'm not copying or
installing any of the full text search .dll files I'm only using the ones
that are in the platform sdk to handle the word breaking through com
interop.

I want to confirm that this is legal under my visual studio or windows
license agreement, but I can't find a source of info on what is or is not
legal to use in the platform sdk. Any pointers to the right people to ask
would be gratefully appreciated.

Cheers

This question has been raised before and what I have been told by my
Microsoft contacts is that you have to contact your local sales office and
ask them about it.
