Running Index Server on A Cluster

| Hi,
I'm currently running Index server on a Windows 2000 cluster. However
I'm having trouble getting Index server to listen on the virtual
server's ip address.
I can only query the index server from SQL 2000 server using openquery
referencing the physical machine address not the virtual. When the
virtual machine moves to the other physical machine, the query has to be
adjusted to reference the second physical machine. Is there a way to get
Index Server to listen on the virtual machine's ip address.
Regards,
Don Montgomery

| Indexing Services is not cluster aware. So, there is no way I can think of.
