Server Application Error, ASP can't run

| Hi experts,
when accessing localhost, Server Application Error is returned and ASP
and ASP.net can't run. From KB HOW TO: Troubleshoot ASP in IIS
5.0(http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...b;en-us;q309051),
It is asked to reinstall com+
(http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...kb;EN-US;301919). When
following the procedure, during add/remove
Windows components, the following error appeared:
Sub-component COM+ raised an exception while processing the
OC_COMPLETE_INSTALLATION setup message.
d:\nt\com\com1x\src\complussetup\comsetu
p\csetuputil.cpp (line 3406)
Error Code = 0x8007007f
The specified procedure could not be found.
Failed to load the library 'C:\WINDOWS\System32\comuid.dll'.
The problem persists after serveral trials. Please help, and thanks in
advance for any kind help.
