| Hi,
I am using Site Server for my b2b portal for forms authentication. I have a
setup program written in VB which creates a membership instance and ldap
directory for the web site. This setup program is executed in Windows 2000
server. I have all the required components related to site server in the
system as part of my Site Server installation.
Now, when I run the setup program, the membership instance and ldap instance
is created, new database also created. While stopping the ldap service, I
dont receive any error. While starting the service programmatically using
the ldapconfig object's "StartServer" method, I am receiving an error as in
the Subject line of this message. "Administration failure for Site Server
LDAP Service: Unknown error". And because of this error, my setup stops at
that point as I need to start the service automatically.
Any help would be appreciated. This is a bit urgent.
