URL authetication session is not expiring

Hi All,

I dont know what I am missing, I am using URL authentication where mscssid is appened to url when a shopper logs in. But after the completion, even if the shopper closes his browser or is kept open for long time session is not expiring.
If he paste the URL with his mscssid in the browser , he is directly
logges in.
I am not able to figure it out what am I missing.
Do I have use another ASP session object for this?
I am not using AUO objects, does my problem resolve if I do?
I donot want to use cookies based authetication ??
