Author Problem: Out of Virtual Memory

As the subject states, I am getting the Error Message Out
of Virtual Memory when my scheduled task to import my iis
log file from my iis server kicks off. I deleted the task
and recreated it and get the same results. 10 days ago
the uimport started giving the Out of Virtual Memory. I
have not changed any thing on my site server. I can
import a log file older than 11 Jan with no problems but
when I import a file newer than 11 Jan I get the out of
Virtual Memory error. I have successfully done a manual
import (prior to 11 Jan) and have an unsuccessful import
of newer files.
Configuration:
Server 1 - MS Win2K server sp4 IIS server
Server 2 - MS Win2k server sp4 Site server
- Site Server 3 sp4
- virtual memory 512 MBs
- RAM 256 MBs
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance
Jamie

I have the exact same problem! Prior to 11 Jan, no problem. After that, the
virtual memory use speeds up to max and gives the error. I have been trying
to solve it for days!

My specs:
NT 4.0
SS 3 sp 4
RAM: 512
Pagefile: 2 GB

So it seems like a bug in the import. I tried importing in an empty
database. I installed a win 2K server with 1 GB RAM, still the same.

So if anyone has an answer, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE post it!!

I have some more info about the error.

I have 1 GB RAM , and importing the logfiles does not give the error. It
peaks at 2.1 GB Virtual Memory.

But... If I check the table tblImportRequest, I find that no data is present
for January 11th, and for all later dates only request before about 10 AM
(local time: GMT + 1) are present. So at least is seems the error is not
random but clearly defined.

I hope MS has a solution. Problem is, support on Siter Server stopper at
January 1st... Coincidence ofcourse :-)

Could someone from MS please answer the question if a solution for this
obvious bug will even be presented? Since the support has ended I think I
know the answer...

I really like the product and have never had any intention (time, money,
etc) to replace it. And I guess there have to be a lot of people out there
who also use it and now have the same problem.

I even got some more info: when importing manually, I get an
"
Run-time error '-2147023174 (800706ba)':
Automation error
"
I re-applied SiteServer SP4, but it didn't work...

So, is anybody out there??
