| When I use an FTP client to connect to my PC over a
network, it says that it is conected but then I get the
following message,"Can't read from control socket. Socket
error = #10107." and it will still say connected but it
will not show any of the contents of the harddrive that I
need access to.

| You can look up the really helpful error message, if you haven't done so
already, at:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/d...9000-11999_.asp
10107 is 'A system call that should never fail has failed.'
(WSASYSCALLFAILURE ).
Is this client software a program that you have written or an application
that you have acquired?
