What server product replaced SiteServer for indexing / search func

I am part of a team migrating a customer from their former parent
organization. They were running commerce server 2002 and had site server 3.0
on a separate box to provide search functionality.

In their new environment they are running all server2003 boxes and, as you
have noted, there is no support for site server on server2003. What product
has taken up the role of web site indexing / database indexing that site
server did?

I appreciate any response you may give.
