MS Office Documents - abstracts in results display?

Hi, can the group confirm what is displayed in the search results
abstracts for MS Office documents? Is it the first 50 words of the
document by default, whether Word, Powerpoint, or Excel? And a related
question - can this display be replaced by filling in the "Subject"
field of the document properties?
