Author Forms authentication and https

I am trying to set up forms authentication so that the login page is
https but the rest of the site is http. Currently following
authentication on an https login form the authentication only seems to
cover https. If the url is changed to http the login form appears
again.

Any one got any ideas?

Hi Duncan,

is there a proxy or a firewall between your browser machine and the CMS
server?
Then disable the "Check Machine IP against cookie" option in the Security
TAB in the SCA and test if the problem is gone.

Cheers,
Stefan.
