Hi all,
I am trying to set up CMS2002 SP1a on a new developer machine. The machine
has an instance on SQL desktop engine (version #8.00.818) that we are tyring
to use for our sql database. We are using a domain account to create the
empty database in SQL and the same account as the CMS system account.
However, we cannot seem to get the DCA to get past the check for dbo rights
(DCA log ends with message "Has db_owner rights=False".

Is SQL desktop engine a supported configuration?

Any help is appriciated - Thanks!

Hi Bucifan,

SQL desktop engine cannot be used with MCMS.
You need to use SQL server 2000.

Cheers,
Stefan.
