Author Can I change the template it uses after publish?

Hi

Yes, but the way to do it depends on what you are
changing :-) Would you need to keep the original template?
Also, do you need to change the the template definition or
just the template file (*.aspx) or both?

Hi

If the original can be thrown away, you could apply the=20
changes onto it directly. That's the easiest way - no need=20
to worry about changing posting GUIDs and such. Would this=20
solve the problem?

Hi Choihead,

the only way to achieve this is to recreate the posting based on the new
template.
If the new template is implemented as a connected template then the
placeholder content can be preserved.
Means you create the new template as connected template, create a connected
posting based on the connected template, then delete the original postings
and original template.

Cheers,
Stefan.
