Problem importing and exporting templates

I've been trying to import and export templates to a server running
CMS 2002, it's a pretty standard set up: Windows 2000 with sql server
on the machine. However sitemanager is freezing whenever I try to
import or export templates.

I've run SQL trace to see whats going on and I get the following three
lines repeated over again:

exec sp_reset_connection

exec SetIntentLock 0

exec sp_executesql N'Select NodeGUID, ParentGUID, Reason,
LastChangeTime, CommitTime, Type, IsShortcut from ChangeTable where
CommitTime > @P1 order by CommitTime desc', N'@P1 datetime', 'Oct 20
2004 9:57:37:700AM'

Any help would be appreciated
