What causes template datestamp to change?
|
|
| Adam White 2004-10-28, 2:47 am |
| Hi all
It appears that the "last modified" time on some of the
templates in our staging/authoring MCMS server are
constantly changing. The datestamps on them templates
files themselves have not changed.
Other than someone checking out the template, editing it,
and checking it back in, what can cause this to happen?
Does adding postings to the site cause the template
associated with the postings to change or something??
This is causing havok with our content export process...
Thanks

| Hi Adam,
when ever the template definition is changed then the last modified date
gets changed (e.g. a placeholder definition is added or changed).
This could also happen if you import template using SDO.
Cheers,
Stefan.

Yep, that's what it was: Exporting a posting exports the
template as well. Importing this package changes the
timestamp on the templates. Thanks Stefan.
