Author creating a link

Hi all,

I have created a link for a published posting in one of my postings. It
works fine. Now if I edit the linked posting and don't approve it, will the
link still work?
Will it show the older version of the posting or it won't be a link anymore?

I have seen two different behaviour at two different boxes.
Ideally what should happen?

I appreciate your help.

Hi Randall,

If you only modify the linked posting's contents and not
its publishing dates and/or posting name, then CMS will
continue to serve the older version of the posting until
the linked posting is published. However, if the linked
posting's publishing date and/or posting name has been
modified, the posting will be taken offline until it is
published.

Cheers,

Jeff
