Author Cannot Connect Pages: error

For a few of our users when they click Create Connecting Pages and try to
select the appropriate page, nothing happens. The IE Status Bar shows an
error saying: Class doesn't support Automation.

Actually, as soon as you select Create Connecitng Pages and the popup window
appears, the page you clicked "Create" from has that error.

Any ideas what the issue is? About half of our users have this problem,
which is slowing down production of the site.

Thanks,

Christian

Hi,

does this user have power user rights on this machine?
To download the Active X this is a requirement.
A workaround would be to preinstall the control on the box:

Cheers,
Stefan.

Thanks for the help... it was an issue with ActiveX not being allowed in IE.
