SDO Export / Import -- flushing the cache Import step
|
|
|
| If I export / import from authoring server to browsing server with a
time parameter of 0 (zero) and there is no newly published content,
will import process recognize this and not flush the cache on the
Import Server? If not the import does not take this into account,
what API or Method should I use to confirm that I am not wasting
flushing the cache for no reason. I can rely on SDO file size as good
indicator.
Thanks,
hjain

| Hi,
the cache is never flushed on import. Only the imported items will be
removed from the cache.
If nothing is imported, nothing is removed.
Cheers,
Stefan.
