for the showhtmlmode property..is it possible to customize
the checkbox 'Html Mode' to display something else?

HI Vivek,

You could write your own placeholder control that implements the radEditor
placeholder control and modify the output.

Another option is log a call on telerik's clientnet and see what they say.
