Greetings,

We are developing using MCMS 2002 and have encountered an error in upgrading
our database from 2001 to 2002 using the DCA.

This is our current setup:

-CMS 2002 (SP1a)
-.net framework 1.0
-visual j# redistributable 1.0
-visual studio.net

In order for us to get to CMS 2002 (SP1a), we installed:

CMS 2002 (without installing site manager)
Installed Sp1a (which upgraded our database which was originally a CMS 2001
database)
Installed visual j# redistributable 1.0
Installed the Site Mgr from Control Panel using the Sp1a

We created some templates and everything worked fine. Next, we decided to
use the DCA to connect to another old CMS 2001 database so that we could also
try developing some templates using it. However, when we started up the DCA
to connect to this database, we got prompted to upgrade the database. Upon
upgrading, we got the following runtime error:
===
Run-time error '-2147217601 (80040f3f)':

[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]The ROLLBACK TRANSACTION
request has no corresponding TRANSACTION.
===

What does this mean?

I checked the DCA logs and found this:

Hi Hati,

you should open a support case for this.

Cheers,
Stefan.
