using DCA and copy of database to move cms server, machine name problems

| Hi,
I'm attempting to move several CMS sites at once that are hosted on a
2000 server to a 2003 server. What I'd like to do is use a backup of
the old CMS database to be restored as a new database for the new
server. This works fine, however I'm confused how carry over the NT
users correctly. During my test run after using the DCA to change the
database on the new server to the copy, the NT user location was
changed from the old server machine name to the new server machine
name for the user roles. Is it possible to change this during that
process, or possibly afterwords within the database itself?

| Hi Matthew,
you need to adjust all users manually using SiteManager by removing and
readding.
There is no automated way to achieve this.
Cheers,
Stefan.
