Author MCMS 2002 AutoLogin in ASP Mixed Mode?

Greetings,

We are in the middle of our migration from MCMS 2001 to MCMS 2002 Mixed
Mode. Previously in our MCMS 2001 implementation we had some channels that
acted as an entry point into edit mode. For example for our site that
utilizes host-header mapping: www.website.com, we created an entry point
called edit.website.com When edit.website.com is visited, a Cover URL
redirected the user to the AutomaticLogin.asp and authenticated the user with
their NT credentials (since we used Integrated Windows Authentication.)

Now that we are using MCMS 2002, we noticed there is no longer a
AutomaticLogin.asp in the folder /NR/System/Access. According to the MCMS
2002 COM API documentation, the method Autosession.AutoLogin is deprecated.
We are using SP1a. How can we implement Automatic Login as per our MCMS 2001
solution in MCMS 2002 in ASP?? Or do we have to now do this using .Net? If
so, where can we find some code examples?

Thank you very much in advance for any assistance.

sincerely,

Hati
