Author NT logon screen pops up everytime...

Strange problem:

I have a template (say, templateA) with two HTML placeholders. These
placeholders have some text and a image in each of them.

On a couple of other templates I get the content (obviously it includes the
image also) of these placeholders and show it on them. Works fine till here.

Now if I browse any posting based on these templates, it pops up the NT
logon dialog box. Not sure why it does that.

I have a couple of other templates which doesn't use any of the content from
templateA. The postings based on these templates load up fine (without the NT
login dialog boxes).

I have checked permissions. Anonymous access is checked along with the
windows integrated authenication.

Any idea what is wrong here?

Thanks

Hi Roy,

this can happen if the image is a resource gallery item and the user
browsing the site does not have right to the resource gallery.
Another reason might be that you removed anonymous access from the /NR
virtual directory. This is not allowed.
Also ensure that the anonymou user has read access to the rdonlyres folder.

Cheers,
Stefan.
