Issue with Site manager.
|
|
|
| Hi all,
Site manager was working fine. Suddenly this morning receive the
followign error trying to create channel, template, resource.
"Cannot create a new item. Refresh the item to synchronize client and
server."
I have tried global refresh several times, have rebooted the db server
and app server with not much help.
any one else receive this msg and have a solution?
thanx

| Hi Laks,
if neither restart of server nor restart of client resolves the problem,
then this sounds like a potential database inconsistancy. You should open a
support case for this.
Cheers,
Stefan.

| Just figured out the problem. Was observing the database logs to see
what is happening. and apparently the log file was full. Once i took
care of that, the creation of objects in Site Manager worked fine.
Though the message rendered by Site Manager does not directly co-relate
to database log issue. Clearing the log file or checking event log for
messages are helpful to determine the actual cause.
thx
