I have been able to import into this server previously, but I can't tell anything that's changed.

I also stuck a test.aspx page in the /MCMS/SiteDeployment directory that wrote out the current timestamp... ran just fine.

| Thanks... I did but unfortunately nothing. Any other ideas before I'm stuck
with PSS?

| Hi AC,
did you check all the hints in this article?
The last hint is to take a netmon trace. Did you do this?
Cheers,
Stefan..

| Hi AC,
netmon is quite easy to use.
It is part of any Window Server product.
If you have more than one network card you need to ensure that netmon binds
to the right one (you can select by MAC address which can be found using
IPCONFIG /all
then start netmon, do the test (you need to ensure that client and server
arr NOT on the same machine as netmon cannot trace machine internal
traffic).
Then stop netmon and check the packages.
You can filter the result by protocol, port, ...
If you have trouble to evaluate the trace you could also ping me again and I
will do this.
Cheers,
Stefan

| Been working with PSS all day. Ends up looks like CMS & SPS with a portal
aren't playing well together based off something in the web.config SPS puts
in the root of the site when creating a portal.

| That makes sense.
CMS often has trouble with web.config files in the root.
Cheers,
Stefan.
