I am getting an installation error indicating that I do
not have the following components installed on my machine:

Microsoft Java VM5.0 or higher
VS.Net installed
IE Web controls

In all cases I do have these installed!

Is this a bug?

Hi Tim,

IE web controls can be found here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...&DisplayLang=en

VS.NET is required if you checked the VS.NET developer tools. If you don't
want to do development, uncheck this box.
If you need VS.NET, install it.

To install CMS 2002 without the JavaVM do the following

- install CMS 2002 server component only
- install CMS 2002 Service pack 1
- run control panel - add remove programs - change/remove to modify the
settings and install an updated version of SiteManager and the developer
tools

Cheers,
Stefan.
