Weird Event Log Entry

| I got many weird event log entries in the Event Log of the following format
(the actual URL listed is different but include *.doc, *.pdf):
Event Type: Warning
Event Source: MCMS
Event Category: None
Event ID: 2602
Date: 27/02/2004
Time: 16:43:53
User: N/A
Description:
An unrecognized request was received by the CMS ISAPI Filter. The request
was mapped to the CMS read-only resource cache virtual directory but the URL
format did not correspond to a CMS Resource. The CMS ISAPI Filter did not
process the request and allowed IIS to handle it instead. The requested URL
was '/NR/rdonlyres/FF1B2362-ADB5-4340-9D4D-742E1A71B5C3/0/report.doc'.
I am running:
Windows 2000 SP4
IIS5 with URL Scan
All Latest service packs
Microsoft Content Management Server 2002 SP1A
SQL Server 2000 Standard Edition
The problem seemed to have happend after I use Server side MCMS export VB
Script to export a repository from a Win2K with SP3 Server running MCMS2002
(without SP1A) to this server.
Could I ignore this warning? How could I "resolve" the problem?

the status is 404 file not found!
What is going on? How could I tell whether a "local" attachment or a file
in the resource gallery is missing?

| Hi Patrick,
If the item is deleted (the 404 seems to indicate this) then CMS identifies
that a request was made to a CMS object it cannot find.
So it writes this event log message.
This can (e.g.) happen if a link to this doc is (e.g.) store in a favorite
item or whatever.

| Is there a way to find out on which posting/page the links were meant to be?
I am a little concerned that when I had the website importing the CMS
repository of a CMS2002 server (without SP1A), it "misses" some items within
the resource gallery (how could I verify whether this is the case, without
looking at every single doc in both machines in Site Manager)?

| This is purely out of curiousity, but with the GUID after /NR/rdonlyres/,
how could I find out against which posting/local attachment/resource gallery
is a URL associated with?

if the item is already deleted then this is no longer possible.
It is only possible for items that still exist - but these do not return
404.
