Hi Clif,

next version: planned = yes, guarantee = no
next service pack: nothing planned yet. Service packs are to provide fixes
and not feature enhancements.

Cheers,
Stefan.

users that hate the default HTML Editor, are lukewarm about the Ektron
replacement, and really like Frontpage. Knowing Microsoft's longer term
plans in this area will help determine the best short term plan.

Is there a public scheduled release date for the next version?

Hi Clif,

not yet. But please check out the CMS sample area on GotDotNet. A MS partner
has uploaded an improved Edit control yesterday.
It should become available within the next 2 or 3 days.

Cheers,
Stefan.

Stefan,

The company Telerik has a wonderful editor control that works well for us in
MCMS 2002 and they are very interested in working with Microsoft in future
editions of MCMS.

Cheers,
Brian Gorbett
