CMS2002 Site Manager problem

when I try to open/list catalog in Resource Gallery I get the following
error:
Error: 0
Description: The class string was improperly formatted.
Severity: 5
Source: AeCliCmn
Debug info: N/A
Extra info: N/A
Client Source: AETree::tvChanTree_Expand
Recommended Action: N/A
any suggestions how to resolve this problem!!
my configurarion:
Win2k SP4 + latest hotfixes
CMS2002 + SP1
...\Microsoft Content Management
Server\Server\IIS_NR\System\Marshalling\
resstub.asp --> nCount is removed.

sounds as if the IE Webcontrols are corrupt.
Please try reinstalling these controls.

We have reinstalled IE Webcontrols but the problem still appears.

then I have no idea.
I would suggest to either reinstall the server or open a support call with
Microsoft.
