CMS 2002 - JavaScript Error - Web Author Console
|

| Hello ppl.
Having some issues with the Web Author console today. When I moved our
authoring server to a new server running Windows 2003 Standard (same as
our "old" server), the web author console suddenly stopped working.
I've done the standard of adding cmspath\Server\IIS_CMS as "CMS" virtual
directory and removing the application from the directory, but i still
get the same "Object Name Expected" javascript error.
I've been reading the MCMS2002 FAQ mentioned a couple of times here, but
can't seem to be able to find an answer suitable to my situation.
Can anybody help?
Regards,
Henning Pedersen

| Hi Hennig,
I would suggest to attach VS.NET as script debugger to your IE to see the
line of code that causes this to identify the missing object.
without further information about the line of code and the object it is hard
to say whats going wrong.
Cheers,
Stefan.
