Default Galleries for Web Authoring
|
|
|
| Under the "Web Authoring" tab in Site Manager, I have set
the default galleries for my channels to point to
Template Gallery and Resouce Gallery.
As an example:
Channels-->My CMS-->Home Channel-->FAQ
Where FAQ is a channel
In my Template Gallery, I have a similar hierarchy:
Templates-->My CMS-->Home Channel-->FAQ
The template for creating postings for this channel
resides in this Template Gallery (FAQ).
When users select Create New Page, this is the first
thing I want them to see when the "Create New Page"
dialog opens up. I have set the default template gallery
property, as describe above, as follows:
/Templates/My CMS/Home Channel/FAQ
However, when the "Create New Page" dialog opens up,
instead of alredy being in this template gallery, the
user is getting a List View of all the template galleries
that the user has rights to... and then the user has to
click on FAQ to get in to that gallery and select the
template... What do I need to do to open up directly in
the FAQ Template Gallery that is specified as the default
template gallery?
Tx!

| Hi Jon,
you have set the property appropriatly but Webauthor does not look at this
property.
I have written a web author console extension that changes the behaviour.
You can download it from here:
