We had to do the exact same thing as the hotfix did not fix the issue. I can
live without whyperthreading enabled on our MSCMS servers for the time
being, they have sufficient horsepower for the time being.

Hi Nick,

you are still the only one where this fix does not solve the problem.
I have double checked our knowledge base.
Are you sure that the fix is correctly installed on your box?

Cheers,
Stefan.

Hi,

this is only a workaround. If you don't need hyperthreading - fine. If you
would like to use the improved performance of hyperthreading you should
spend the time to request the free of charge hotfix.

Cheers,
Stefan.

Yep I am absolutely positive that this fix was installed on the production
machine. After having conversations with our TAM and the Premier support
personel responsible for the case, MS believes that a revision to the
article is necessary. If you'd like I can forward you the names of the
people that we worked with to resolve this problem. Let me know, I can also
give you the SRX number in case you needed to refer to as well.
