author/editor session timeout...

| I have been having problems with authors/editors editing content, then saving and exiting and losing all of their changes. I heard somewhere there was a 15 minute timeout, and their session would end if they didn't hit save often enough. Is there any wa
y to extend this time period?
Thanks in advance,
Jeremy

| Hi Jeremy,
there is an ASP.NET (configured in web.config) and CMS (configured in SCA)
session timeout. It is 30 minutes by default.
What is the error message your authors experience?
Cheers,
Stefan.

| 2 different messages,
the first - sometimes when you click on "switch to edit site", or "save and exit" you get a "page cannot be displayed" message, if you hit refresh the posting then shows up, but without changes if "save and exit".
the second - no warning, just see posting without changes that were made after clicking on "save and exit"
thanks for your time,
Jeremy

| Hi Jeremy,
the first thing is a known IE bug:

The second: not sure. Maybe related.
Cheers,
Stefan
