Author No option to create a new CMS project in VS.NET

W2K3 server EE, IIS 6.0, CMS 2002, SPS 2003, SQL EE,
VS.NET, .NET framework. Service packs and the content
integration piece are installed.

The dbase is configured, I can see everything on the CMS
and IIS servers that should apparently be there,
according to the book, but when I go into VS.NET to
create a new CMS project, I am not given the option to do
so. It's not a selection from the menu where the book
says it should be.

Any clues?

Thanks.

Hi Sean,

it looks as if the VS.NET developer tools are not installed.
Did you install VS.NET after installing CMS?
Then you have to add the VS.NET developer tools afterwards separatly.
If this is SP1a this can be done by using Control Panel / Add Remove
Programs
then click the change button of CMS 2002 SP1a.

Cheers,
Stefan
