We are trying to edit some content on the Site Hosted with
the help of Content Management Server. While editing the
content CMS provides us editor which is nothing but some
activex control. If we try to access this by sitting on the
machine where CMS 2002 is installed and it is working
fine. but If we try to access it from outside then that
activex control is not getting rendered and we cannot edit
the content. We also done some settings like making browser
security to low medium/low but still it is not working.
Please let us know the solution for this.

Thanks

This is what I did:

Could have happened because IE denied the ActiveX control the first time it
was required, caching the result. In the "Internet Options" dialog (Tools >
Internet Options), click "Settings", then "View objects" and delete all CMS
related ActiveX controls. Once done with that, adjust security settings to
low (or add your CMS site to your list of trusted zones) and reload the
page...
