Hi,
I use SPS for indexing and search in MCMS Web.
I put SearchInput & SearchResult controls in a MCMS
template to allow user to search in MCMS Web. It works
fine, but I'd like to change the layout of the
SearchResult control - to display results in a different
way. Is it possible to customize the SearchResult control?
Has anyone any idea how to get results from SPS without
using SearchInput & SearchResult? I mean how to send a
query to SPS and get e.g. DataTable with results.

Hi Carl,

this is not possible.
This control is not customizeable.
You will have to write your own controls.

There has been a lot of discussion about customizing the SearchResultControl. Can anyone tell me how to get started on writing my own. I have no idea how to go about this.....any help would be greatly appreciated as I don't even know where to start. Do
