I have the following problem :

I have a channel with projects.
Each project has an undetermined number of reviews,
specific for this project. (a typical database 1 to many issue)

How do I solve this in MCMS? and has annybody anny samples?

Why don't you solve this with customk properties on the review postings...
For a project you can now get all reviews with the projectname as the custom
property value of the review posting.

Beside this:
This is not a normal topic for MCMS.
You should look for a blog solution rather than MCMS.

Cheers,
Stefan.

Hi Stefan,

Are you aware of anyone writing an out of the box blog template (and
supporting controls) for a blog? (nav, archiving, comments, rss export)

Even though it is over kill to use MCMS for a blog; I can think of a few
companies that would want their employee's blog's under the corporate banner
and on their MCMS server.

Regards

Hi Angus,

I have some code to generate an RSS feed from a MCMS site:
http://blogs.msdn.com/stefan_gossne.../04/107235.aspx

But I'm not aware about someone having a full blogging solution based on
MCMS.

Cheers,
Stefan.

But we do need this as part of an MCMS website.
And everything should be MCMS editable.

So, is there an MCMS solution for this?

Or should I store connected id's in a seperate SQL-server?

Hi,

MCMS can smoothly be integrated with any other ASP.NET solution like .TEXT
blog.
But if you insist in doing it with MCMS then go ahead. But I think you will
have to implement it from scatch as I'm not aware that someone else did it
before.

Cheers,
Stefan.

Hi Koen,

connected templates are used to publish the same content using different
template designs.
So this is not related to commenting articles.

Cheers,
Stefan.
