Extending MSIB Page Profile with a multi-valued property

Hello,
I'm trying to make a simple customization to the standard "MSIB Page
Profile" that comes with MSIB 2.5. I would like to add a new property
of type "Site Term" that is multi-valued. I can successfully perform
the configuration, and publish the profile; however the edit control
for the property is rendered as a drop down list and therefore will
only allow me to select one value. (Yes I triple checked that the
multi-value checkbox is checked) This is true in the
Bizdesk/Content/Page Profiles section as well as on the
PageProfileEditPage.aspx implementation included in the AdventureWorks
sample site.

I performed the same configuration on the UserObject, and everything
works the way I expected. What gives?
