Custom Placeholder Save Errors
|
|
| Mark Walz 2004-07-29, 5:51 pm |
| I have created a few custom placeholders for a page and
they seem to be working. When you create a new page, the
page saves fine and when you edit one of these pages it
saves fine.
However, if you edit a page and save it and then
immediately go back and edit the page and save it again,
during the second save process, everything moves
incredibly slow and ultimately I get this error message:
Save Placeholder Failed
Error Details:
The operation has timed-out.
After that, you cannot save the page. It continues to
operate in slow motion and gives the same error message.
To fix the problem, I wind up closing out of the browser
and starting a new session.
Has anyone experienced this problem before? I have
searched the group and could not find anything similar.
Thanks in advance,
Mark Walz

| Hi Mark,
I have never seen this before.
I would assume there is a problem in your placeholder control code or in a
workflow event you created.
Cheers,
Stefan.
