CMS Dependence on SQLServer Availability
|
|
| Kurt Kirkham 2004-08-24, 8:14 am |
| There is a dependence of CMS on SQLServer being
available. We have a 15 minute failover, which does not
meet a SLA for a website we are looking at converting to
CMS.
How have others in the CMS Community gotten around this
issue?
We are looking at static rendering through spidering
technology.
Any other options?
Thanks,
kurt...

| Hi Kurt,
usually this happens automatically - if the node cache is big enough.
Everything in the node cache will work.
Only pages that have not been requested before will cause problems.
Cheers,
Stefan.
