We are running MS CMS 2002 (SP1), IIs5, SQL Server 2000, .net Framework 1.1 and Ektron eWebEditPro 4 (a WYSIWYG editor for MS CMS) on a Windows 2000 server (SP4).

We've had trouble with the ASPnet_wp maxing out the CPU at 100 percent. Our site has slowed to a crawl during business hours when site traffic is high. It runs much faster during off hours when traffic is lighter.

We've had our vendor look at the problem thinking it was do to poor coding for the CMS - no luck. We've even had HP looking at the issue and none of their fixes have worked.

Have any of you encountered this issue before, is there a fix or remedy. Any suggestions on things we should look for.

We're at the point, where I'm open to trying anything including removing the site to another server and rebuilding/reconfirating/re-partioning the current box it is on.

Thanks in advance for any help...
