CMS and Default Web Site

| Hi,
I am setting up a CMS web site and would like to know the
advantages and disadvantages of running a CMS site on the
IIS root compared to as an off-root web application? Could
space or memory amount be saved on either approaches?
Thanks!
Ronald

| Hi Ronald,
it is highly recommended NOT to use the IIS root but to use a off-root web
application for yur template proejct.
Otherwise you will run into troubles when using SiteManager and
SiteDeployment.
Cheers,
Stefan.
