Our authors find built-in placeholders revolting. Our designers freak out
when they see HTML emitted by ASP.NET and MCMS(?).

Ok, we've acquainted ourselves with workaround suggestions Stefan has
written about, in the past. Alas, they're only suggestions.

Has anyone actually written code to customize MCMS placeholders in authoring
and presentation mode? We'd greatly appreciate it if he or she were willing
to make this code available.
