Error when saving an updated posting

| Hi All,
We are currently configuring an MCMS website on a live server. Things from a
viewable perspective are working fine along with the majority of the admin
features. However, whenever we attempt to save an update to a page we
receive the following error:
Any ideas what could be causing this issue? How can we track it?
Save Placeholder Failed
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
----
Error Details:
Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.
Thanks in advance,
Darren.

| Hi Joseph,
this is a common problem if there is a problem in a workflow event.
Please disable all your workflow extensions and check if the problem is
gone.
Cheers,
Stefan.
