Author Site Manager URL problem

We are running Site Manager on our internal read/write
server. We have a DNS entry called internetadmin. When I
remote desktop into this computer and try to run Site
Manger, it tries to connect to internetadmin.mydomain.com,
so it prompts me for a username and password. That is not
a major problem, but when I try to export a package, I get
a 403 Access Forbidden error. I'm assuming this is
because the wizzard is trying to access the site, but it
doesn't prompt me to enter the password. I'm assuming
this because if I goto http://internetadmin, it doesn't
prompt for a password to get into the site, but if I go to
http://internetadmin.mydomain.com, it does. I also
checked the shortcut to sitemanager, and it has the
following: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Content Management
Server\Client\NRClient.exe"
http://internetadmin/NR/System/ClientUI/login.asp, so I
would think this would fix it.

And ideas on how to change this to point to
http://internetadmin?

Hi Jason,

please check if your /MCMS and /NR virutal directory have anonymous access
enabled.
This is a requirement for SiteManger to work properly.

Cheers,
Stefan.
