Freeze when using navigation

| I am having a odd problem with my navigation when browsing my site in edit
mode.
When i click certain links with my console in "edit mode" the browser
freezes on "(1 item remaining)" in the explorer status bar.
If i go back and swith to live mode and then click the link again the is no
problem.
The link is rendered using Posting.Url - so there should be no mix up with
published/unpublished...
Has anyone experinced a simalar problem, and if so is there a possible
solution ?
Thx for your help

| Hi Lars,
a network monitor trace would show if the problem is caused by the browser
or by the server.
Without a trace it is not possible to analyze this problem.
Regards,
Stefan.

| I have done some furter investigation, and think i have found the problem..
The site is a migrated version of a CMS2001 site, and on the templates in
question the server sends me an old ASP version of the posting..
I have no channel rendering scripts, there is only one posting in the
channel, i have bound the template to the new ASPX file, and the template is
working when browsed by subscribers and in "live mode". But when requested
in "edit mode" the CMS server sends me a very outdated version of the page.
So instead my question is, there must be some cache that is used when the
page is requested. I have cleared the memory cache in the SCA, but the
problem persists.
How do i clear this old version from the system, when i migrated i took a
copy of the 2001 database and used the migration tool, no other files were
moved from the old server.
Thx for you time
